The Vessel suffered a severe damage in way of the slewing bearing of one of her deck cargo cranes. We were appointed by H&M Underwriters to investigate the nature, extent and costs associated with the casualty.
We attended in Walvis Bay, investigated the casualty, followed up the repairs and reported to principals.
On completion of the repairs, the assured proceeded with the submission of their claim to Underwriters. We received the claim invoices which we reviewed, analyzed and offered our comments to Underwriters.
