The Vessel, in loaded condition, went aground in South Greece. We were appointed by owners as consultants to their Adjusters to attend as General Average Surveyors.
We attended on-site on two periods of time of about two weeks each. The salvage operations were monitored in detail, as did the ship-to-ship lightering and backloading operations and the final ship-to-ship offloading operation to free the Vessel and proceed to repair facilities for permanent repairs.
Regular and detailed reports and updates were issued to principals, followed by a comprehensive final report accompanied by a vast amount of supporting documentation concerning costs associated.
